From September through November, fall festivals will pop up all around Lake Anna. These festivals can involve your favorite fall activities, including pumpkin picking, trick-or-treating, sipping cider and more. Or, get a taste of area’s local wine, beer and food at one of these festivals.
Pick Your Own Pumpkin
When you visit Lake Anna, be sure to stop by the local farmers markets in the neighboring towns and cities. Throughout the year, you can browse and pick your own locally grown fruits and vegetables to take home. During fall, pick out a pumpkin for carving to baking into a delicious pumpkin pie.

Have Frightening Fun
Whether you prefer tricks or treats, the Halloween season offers plenty to do near Lake Anna. Take part in family-friendly frights or a more chilling experience. Head to Lake Anna State Park for a Halloween celebration around the fire. Nearby Kings Dominion will have hundreds of monsters lurking around the park during their Halloween Haunt.
